Qunhong Weng is professor in school of materials science and engineering, Hunan University. After receiving the PhD degree, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS) during 2015-2017, Japan, Alexander von Humboldt Fellow and group leader at Leibniz IFW Dresden (2017-2018), Germany, before joining Hunan University. He received several competive funds from NFSC, JSPS (KAKEN Grant) and Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Qunhong has published over 50 peer-reviewed papers with a total citation of >6500 times (Google Scholar). He also serves as a reviewer for over 30 scientific journals including Adv. Mater., Adv. Energy Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., ACS Nano, and has been invited to contribute progress reports/reviews to the journals of Adv. Mater. and Small.

Zeyan Zhou, Postdoc Researcher

Zeyan Zhou received his PhD degree in Materials Science from Hunan University. During this period, he worked at the Ningbo Sino-Ukrainian New Materials Industrial Technologies Institute as an assistant researcher. Now, he is a postdoc in School of Materials Science and Engineering, Hunan University. His research focuses on energy storage materials and flexible electronic smart devices. He has published more than 20 papers such as Journal of Materials Science & Technology, Energy Storage Materials, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Chemical Engineering Journal, Small, SusMat and Materials Science and Engineering C.

Jiawei Xie, Postdoc Researcher

Jiawei Xie is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Hunan University. He received his PhD degree from Hunan University in 2023, and a joint Ph.D. program from Hunan University - Eindhoven University of Technology during 2022-2023. He has published 16 peer-reviewed papers in J. Materiomics, Ceram. Int. etc. and served as a reviewer for several scientific journals, including Compos B Eng. etc. His research interests include SiC porous ceramics, SiC/Al composites and BN ceramics.
